Displacement Transducers

More Information

Rectilinear displacement transducers are used to measure the travel of sliding or moving parts. Typical fields of use are plastics injection moulding machines as well as pneumatic or hydraulic installations.

MK4 are contactless transducers using magnetostriction. Transducers are fitted with a mechanical linkage using a joint which takes up play in the alignment. Advantages of contactless transducers are wear and tear free operation, a virtually unlimited lifetime, high immunity to dust, dirt and moisture and resistance to vibration or mechanical shock.

LT displacement transducers are cost efficient, based on a cursor sliding along a resistive strip. Movement is restricted to one plane, not permitting angular displacement. The measuring principle is that of a potentiometer.

PK rodless dispacement transducers are fitted with a mechanical linkage using a joint which takes up play in the alignment. The measuring principle is that of a potentiometer.

PC selfloading transducersare based on a cursor sliding along a resistive strip. Selfalligning linkage and ball-joints on either side permit angular displacement. The measuring principle is that of a potentiometer.
