High sound level – an Environmental Health Issue

Did you know?
The measuring range (dynamic range) of the human ear extends from 0 dB up to approximately 140 dB.
In order to ensure the health of human beings, ear protection is a necessity at a sound level (continual) >80 dB.

The testo 815 and 816 sound meter measures and evaluates SOUND, NOISE or PURE TONES in environments where there may be air conditioning/ heating, machine noise or noise in combustion systems.

They are easy to operate and are ideal for evaluators, workplace measurements, and measuring industrial or environmental noise.
Both the testo 815 and 816 feature a Max/min memory, switchable time weighting (fast/slow), a frequency weighting and are easy to adjust.

A Sound Level Calibrator is available as an accessory in case of change in place or temperature.
