Humidity Seminar to be held May 2009

In its series of compact practical training seminars, Microversity has announced a one-day industrial seminar concentrating on the topic of humidity.
The seminar is presented by a recognised authority on the topic, Mr Christoph Edelmann from Testo AG Christoph is the business development manager for stationary equipment for Europe and has built a wealth of practical applications experience.

Course Outline

The topics covered will include all theory around relative humidity, dewpoint and pressure dewpoint, and will incorporate the different methodologies of measuring these parameters for industrial applications.
It will cover applications in ambient, high temperature as well as pressurized applications ( in compressed air).

Humidity related factors influence manufacturing processes, product quality and longevity of packaged and bulk materials. In many cases problems around humidity lead to substantial damages during storage, transport and write-offs due to HACCP non-conformance. Contaminated air and wet compressed air can result in machine downtime, corrosion and bacterial growth.

The seminar is geared towards providing delegates practical value to apply and improve their production processes, measure ventilation and airconditioning requirements and clean room applications.
Mr Edelmann encourages delegates to bring real-life problems to the seminar for discussions and problem-solving.

Who Should Attend?
The seminar covers all industries, but will be of particular interest to food, pharmaceutical, general manufacturing, storage and transport etc.
