testo has launched a high-quality leakage detector for all common refrigerants in refrigeration systems and heat pumps. The testo 316-4 sports an extremely long sensor life backed by a 2-year sensor warranty.

When leakages are detected, the display changes from green to red. Additionally, an audible alarm sounds. By means of an earplug included in the product package, the testo 316 can be utilized in extremely noisy environments. It features an indicator function which shows maximum leakages and so facilitates the identification of leakage locations. The flexible gooseneck allows for optimal positioning of the sensor.

A simple change of sensor by the user converts the 316-4 into an ammonia detector.
