ThermoTube construction consists of a single insulated copper or stainless steel process tube ideally suited to transport
- steam
- hot or cold liquids
- gases or refrigerants
Pre-insulated with nonhygroscopic glass fibre, the tube is complete with a heat reflective foil wrap and a weatherproof outer covering.
Advantages:
- Quick, compact, one-step installation in existing cable trays, angles, channels, struts and I-beams.
- Superior, weatherproof insulation
- Lower installation costs than field insulated tubing
ThermoTube can also be manufactured in a variety of optional process tube materials, wall thicknesses and outer coverings to meet a multitude of applications.
Notes:
ThermoTube is a single insulated tube ideally suited to transport hot or cold liquids or gases. It was specifically developed for steam supply and condensate return lines, and is also used as an un-heated sample line.
It is pre-insulated with non-hygroscopic glass fiber and a weather-resistant outer jacket. ThermoTube can be manufactured with a variety of tube materials, wall thicknesses and outer jackets.
ThermoTube is supplied in long length coils and can be quickly and easily installed in existing cable trays, angles, channels, struts and I-beams. ThermoTube termination kits protect the ends for a lower installed cost than field insulated tubing.
